Another successful Gridiron show

Gridiron 2015: On Time and On Budget proved popular
again this year. Tickets sold out in less than 1� days.
Proceeds from the show (Aug. 27-29) will help fund the
chapter�s nationally recognized internship program for the
next two years.

Election time

The chapter will hold a meeting on Saturday, Oct. 17, to take nominations for next year�s directors and officers.

It will start at noon in the conference room of the Honolulu Star-Advertiser, Room 210, 500 Ala Moana, Building 7 (The Star-Advertiser Tower).

Upcoming events:

� Notices of the 2015 Excellence in Journalism contest will be going out probably in mid-January. If you don�t see anything in your email by Jan. 20, contact smorita1@twc.com

� The Phoenix SPJ chapter will host the 2016 Region 11 conference April 29-30 in Phoenix.
